Emily E. Wallace

Emily Wallace is a freelance writer, illustrator, and scholar of pimento cheese.  She is a chief contributor to Raleigh-Durham’s Independent Weekly, and has written and illustrated work for other publications including The Oxford American, GOOD, Culture, The Daily Meal, and Our State.

Wallace lives in Durham, North Carolina with her muppet dog Rubick.
